The M249 ERS Developer Kit is the flagship development model of our crew-served drop-in kit product line. We are able to scale this technology to any crew-served form factor in a durable, tetherless, and high fidelity package. Key components include:

CAPABILITIES
REALISTIC ELECTRONIC RECOIL
The drop-in kit will provide realistic recoil for the trainee as demonstrated in Haptech’s surrogate weapons systems. This recoil profile will be tuned to mimic the real weapon’s recoil profile by using captured data from weapon platforms.
MINIMAL INSTALLATION & BREAKDOWN TIME
The drop-in kit is designed to minimize time from live weapon to training and training weapon to live weapon without the need for specialized tools or skills.
SUPPORTS BALLISTIC ACCURACY
The drop-in kit is designed to be tracking agnostic, and will support any tracking systems while delivering real-time IMU data for pitch, yaw, and roll.
RECOGNITION OF POSITION & ORIENTATION
The kit will be able to recognize the position of the bolt during training, the position of the selector switch, sense of trigger pull and force, and weapon barrel orientation before, during, and after a shot.

Our modular open system is VR / AR / MR / Live / Screen-Based ready. Driven by the Haptech Manager software, its open API and streamlined integration makes our devices universally adaptable to tracking systems and content for use in multimodal training environments.
