About
Haptech, inc
Headquartered in Downtown New Orleans, Haptech, Inc. is an innovator in warfighter training technology, specializing in developing surrogate weapons and drop-in kits using the company’s proprietary Electromagnetic Recoil & Instrumentation Systems (ERIS).
This one-of-a-kind technology uses electromagnetic linear motors to provide battery-powered, hard-hitting recoil and utilizes a suite of sensors that allow for remote touchpoint monitoring and data collection. The technology is scalable through a variety of sizes and form factors from handguns to heavy weapons.
Founded in 2014, Haptech’s portfolio includes 77 patented technologies with 11 more pending.
TECHNOLOGY
Haptech Defense Systems’ core technology, the Electromagnetic Recoil & Instrumentation Systems (ERIS) was developed for military simulation. First patented in 2012, this technology harnesses the power of three motor types to provide force feedback, enabling an exceptional degree of customization and control. Powering both surrogate weapons and drop-in kit systems, this solution is adaptable to fit new or well-worn weaponry, will perform longer with less maintenance than standard pneumatic systems and is cost-effective and scalable to any weapon form factor.
Haptech Defense Systems is now poised to redefine virtual weapons training for the U.S. Military and provide significant advancements in warfighter training at national and international levels.
